RODENT REMOVAL
Firstly remove any food, water or shelter that rats may have access to. This will deny them of their main requirements for survival. Secondly control the infestation with poison bait, which is available from chemists, hardware shops and garden centres. To be effective, the bait must be accessible to rats.
It will take several days before the rats feed freely. When the bait is no longer being taken the infestation has been eradicated and the bait should be removed. Rats that have taken the bait will go back to their nests to die, which can sometimes smell. How long the smell lasts will depend on how warm the nest is but will usually go after a short period of time.
